Qihong Kiwi (脐红猕猴桃)

The fruit is nearly cylindrical in shape, with an average weight of 97 grams per fruit. Its skin is green and hairless, with a depressed apex and a prominent navel-like bulge at the calyx end. The flesh is yellow-green, featuring a radiating red pattern around the core. It has a sweet flavor and a pleasant aroma. The fruit contains 19.9% soluble solids, 12.56% total sugar, 1.14% titratable acid, and 0.972 mg/g of vitamin C. The core is small, regular, and oval-shaped. The fruit ripens in late September and is relatively durable in storage, keeping for up to 1 month at room temperature or 4–6 months at 1–2°C.
