Description

The Yaguang pear is a renowned specialty fruit from Langfang City with a long history of cultivation. This variety is highly adaptable, boasting characteristics such as drought and flood resistance, tolerance to poor soil and salinity, ease of management, high yield, and long lifespan.

The fruit is obovate or oval in shape, with an average weight of around 150 grams, and the largest fruits can reach up to 250 grams. The skin is yellow-green, with numerous small spots, and is thick and uneven. The flesh is yellowish-white, with moderate juice content, and contains large and abundant stone cells. After ripening, the flesh softens, the juice increases, and the flavor becomes sweet and sour with a rich aroma. The sugar content is 14%, and the core is relatively large.
