Description
The Black King grape is a newly cultivated variety developed through hybridization. It is a natural seedless triploid grape known for excellent bud differentiation, easy coloration, and straightforward cultivation, making it a potential replacement for Kyoho grapes. Each fruiting branch can bear 2 to 4 bunches, with bunch weights ranging from 600 to 800 grams. The berries develop a rich purplish-red hue with a thick bloom and are easy to peel.
In the Qinhuangdao region, the Black Emperor fully matures in mid-to-late August, typically achieving a sugar content of 22%. It boasts a unique aroma combining strawberry and rose fragrances. Naturally, the berries are small, but treating them with 100 PPM gibberellin 10-14 days after flowering can increase berry size to 12-15 grams. The fruit sets uniformly without uneven sizes, and the variety exhibits exceptional disease resistance.
