Description

Ehime 38 is a new hybrid citrus variety from Japan. The fruit is round with a deep orange color, sparse oil glands, and a smooth, attractive appearance. Each fruit weighs between 193-249 grams and is easy to peel. It has a sugar content of 15° and an acidity level below 0.5°, with no seeds. The flesh is delicate and melts in the mouth, offering a refreshing and fragrant flavor. This variety is highly resistant to cold, stores well, and has excellent productivity, producing fruit in clusters. It is a very promising early-maturing hybrid citrus variety.
