Description
It is a geographically protected variety from Beipiao, Liaoning Province in Northeast China. A distinctive feature of this variety is that its branches hang down like willow twigs. The fruit is club-shaped—narrow at both ends and wider in the middle—with an average weight of about 19-30 grams. It has a small pit and thick flesh, offering a fragrant, sweet, and crisp texture. It shatters upon falling to the ground! The skin is thin and has no fibrous texture. The fruit contains about 30% sugar.
