Description

Gongcheng Moon Persimmon, a specialty of Gongcheng Yao Autonomous County in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is a product with a Chinese national geographical indication. It is named “Moon Persimmon” because, after the persimmons from Gongcheng are peeled and sun-dried into persimmon cakes, they become soft, translucent, and covered with a layer of white frost formed by evaporated sugars, resembling a bright full moon.

Gongcheng Moon Persimmon has tender, crisp flesh with a refreshing sweetness. It is rich in high-quality protein, various vitamins, and trace elements, with high levels of calcium and iron. The fruit is visually appealing, brightly colored, and versatile: crisp persimmons are sweet and crunchy, frozen persimmons are fragrant with a sweet core, and persimmon cakes are soft and honey-like. These products are not only delicious but also provide multiple health benefits.
