Description

Gushan 2 longan has a flattened round shape with an average fruit weight of 10 to 12 grams. The fruit has a moderately thick, reddish-brown shell that is easy to peel. The flesh is relatively thick, waxy white, and semi-transparent, with no juice leakage when the shell is removed. It has a crisp texture and a sweet taste, containing 17.4% sugar and 20.5% soluble solids, with titratable acidity at 0.078%. Each 100 grams of juice contains 85.7 milligrams of vitamin C. The fruit has a unique fragrance when eaten fresh. The seed is medium-sized, with the edible portion accounting for 70.8% of the total fruit weight.
