Hongyang Kiwi (红阳猕猴桃)

Description

The fruit is long and cylindrical, tapering at the top, with a smooth, hairless surface. Each fruit weighs an average of 75 grams. The flesh displays a striking combination of red, yellow, and green, with a red core, making it highly attractive. The flesh is fine-textured, juicy, and has a sweet, aromatic flavor.
It contains 13.45% total sugars, 0.49% total acids, and 14.1%–19.6% soluble solids. The fruit matures in late August and can be stored at room temperature for 10–15 days. Under refrigeration at 1°C, it can be stored for 1–3 months.
