Description
Jinhong No. 1 kiwi has a cylindrical shape with a light yellowish-brown skin. The upper-middle part of the fruit surface is smooth, while the calyx area is slightly recessed and covered with sparse, soft, fine hairs. This variety is highly productive, with an average fruit weight of 90 g and a maximum weight of 155 g, offering consistent fruit sizes.
The flesh is yellow, featuring red radiating patterns along the fruit axis. At its optimal eating stage, the soluble solids content is 17–20%, and the dry matter content is 19–22%. The texture is fine yet firm, delivering a sweet, rich, and refreshing taste.
