Description
The fruit is spherical or short-oval in shape, with an individual fruit weighing around 200-250 grams, making it one of the larger varieties of blood oranges. Its maturity period is from mid-January to mid-February. When ripe, the skin is thin, smooth, and marked with purple-red blotches, giving it a visually appealing appearance. The flesh also features purple-red blotches, with abundant juice, a rich flavor, and a tender, melting texture. It contains 12.8% soluble solids and has a rose-like fragrance with an excellent taste. The new Tarocco blood orange variety has few or no seeds.
