Description
It is native to Wuxian County, Jiangsu Province, Dongting West Mountain and cities and counties along the Taihu Lake. The fruit is round, dark purple-red when fully ripe, relatively flat, with a narrow round top and base, and a slightly reddish or light green tumor-like protrusion at the base of the fruit stalk. The fruit is large, with an average single fruit weight of 14.9 grams, which is a rare large-fruit variety among early-maturing varieties. The fruit of this variety is moderately soft and hard, with a strong flavor and rich aroma. The soluble solids content is 12.5%. The edible rate is 92.4%, the acid content is 1.05%, and the quality is good. The maturity period is mid-June, and it is resistant to storage and transportation.
