Description
Yongguan is a new variety of large-fruit bud mutation selected from Dongkui yangmei.
Variety characteristics:
Strong tree, tall crown, round head shape, thick main branches, strong branching ability. The leaves are large, light green, and obovate. The fruit is nearly spherical, with red or purple-red fruit surface, shallow suture line, convex fruit pedicle, short fruit stalk, red-purple flesh, thick and juicy flesh column; the fruit is large, with an average single fruit weight of 30.9g and a maximum single fruit weight of 53g. It tastes sweet and sour, with an edible rate of 95.2%, a soluble solid content of 12.6%, and excellent quality. The fruit core is oval, with a length of 1.81cm and a width of 1.15cm. In Huangyan, Zhejiang, the fruit matures from the end of June to the beginning of July.
