Description
Also known as Beibei 447 Jin Orange, Goose Egg Orange, is a new variety developed by the Agriculture Bureau of Beibei District in Chongqing, China, from a mutated strain of Jin Orange. The fruit is oval-shaped and matures in mid-to-late November. Its skin is relatively fine, orange-colored, glossy, and easy to peel, with a thickness of 0.31 cm. Each fruit weighs between 182 to 212 grams, with tender, melting flesh and a rich flavor. It is seedless (with an average seed count of 0.27 to 0.45), and of excellent quality. The juice contains 10.6% soluble solids, around 9.0% sugar, and about 1.2% acidity, with a juice yield of 55%.
