Da Hong Pao Loquat (大红袍枇杷)

Description

It produces nearly spherical, slightly flattened fruits with an average weight of 23 grams and uniform size. Both the skin and flesh are orange-red. The skin is thick, durable, and easy to peel. The flesh is firm and dense, with moderate juice content and a rich sweet flavor, slightly tangy, and contains 11.43% soluble solids. Each fruit has an average of 1.8 seeds and an edible rate of approximately 72.3%. In Yuhang, Zhejiang, the fruit matures from late May to early June.
