Jiang Shan Hong Hawthorn (绛山红山楂)

The fruit is nearly round but slightly flattened, with a pentagonal shape at the top. The surface is bright red or bright jujube red with a waxy sheen, and the top of the fruit is adorned with scattered small yellow-white spots, enhancing its attractive appearance. The fruit weighs between 15 to 26 grams, with the largest reaching up to 40 grams. The skin is coated in red, with dense yellow-white spots, giving it a somewhat rough texture. The flesh is pale pink to pink, with a dense texture, a slightly sweet and sour taste, and is of excellent quality. The fruit matures in early October.
