Description
Laiyang pear, also called Laiyang Chi pear, Laiyang Ci pear, is a specialty of Laiyang City, Shandong Province, and also a Chinese geographical indication product.
The fruit is generally inversely ovate, with large individual fruits weighing an average of 250 grams each. The skin is yellow-green with rough surface texture and brown rust spots. The calyx is concave, and the flesh is delicate and juicy, with abundant juice and a crispy sweetness, making it a top-grade pear.
In terms of taste, it is delicate, juicy, and sweet.
