Description
It is a new early-ripening, high-quality, large-fruited white-fleshed variety developed through selective breeding of hybrid progeny from ‘Early Bell No. 6’ and ‘New White No. 2.’ The fruit is nearly round or obovate with uniform size, weighing 53.5–63.4 grams per fruit. The skin ranges from pale white-yellow to light orange-red, with few rust spots and noticeable striping, and is extremely easy to peel. The flesh is thick, delicate, dissolves in the mouth, and is white to pale yellow in color. It has a soluble solids content of 13.7%–16.8% and an edible rate of 71.4%–74.9%. The flavor is fresh, sweet with a lingering aftertaste, and of excellent quality. In the Fuzhou region, the fruit matures from early March to early April.
