Qiuxiang (秋香龙眼)

Description

Qiuxiang longan variety was selected from the hybrid offspring of Dongbao 9 x  Xiangcui. It inherits the large, high-quality fruit of its maternal parent, ‘Dongbao 9, and the fragrant aroma of its paternal parent, Xiangcui. This variety has demonstrated strong adaptability, early fruiting, high yield, stable production, easy flowering, and a high fruit set rate in regions such as Fuzhou, Putian, and Ningde in Fujian, Nanning in Guangxi, and Luzhou in Sichuan.

Field production measurements show that a three-year-old grafted tree can produce 50.9 kg per tree, translating to a yield of 1679.7 kg per acre. The average fruit weight is 17.1 grams, with a soluble solids content of 20.3% and an edible rate of 71.0%.
