Sunshine 1 Mandarin (阳光一号特早熟蜜桔)

Description

Sunshine 1 is an ultra-early maturing variety of honey mandarin, a bud mutation of Oita 4. Its main advantage lies in its early ripening, maturing more than a week earlier than Oita 4 in the same region. Additionally, it resolves the issue of peel puffiness when left on the tree, resulting in a longer sales period. Sunshine 1 also has better melt-in-the-mouth texture compared to Oita 4, with thinner fruit walls and a sweeter taste. It ripens between August and September, with an average fruit weight of 60-100 grams, seedless, fragrant, and melts in the mouth.
