Description
Wan Hong Kiwi is a new variety of Actinidia chinensis selected from the high-grafted orchard of the Hong Yang kiwi variety. The fruit is long-elliptical in shape, with an average weight of 91g and a maximum weight of 132g. It has a greenish-brown skin that is thick, and when ripe, its flesh turns yellow-green with a red core. The texture is fine, juicy, and aromatic, with a sweet flavor and excellent quality. The soluble solids content is 16.44%, total sugar content is 12.05%, total acid content is 1.19%, and vitamin C content is 97.2 mg/100g. The post-ripening period lasts 20-30 days, and it can be stored for up to four months at 0.5°C. The fruit matures in mid-October.
