Description
Yura is an extremely early-ripening Unshu mandarin, selected from a bud mutation of the Miyagawa variety, with fruit maturing in late September. The fruit is higher and rounder than Miyagawa, with an average weight of 116.2 grams, slightly smaller than Miyagawa. Its skin is yellow-orange, moderately thick, and has medium smoothness, making it somewhat difficult to peel. It is resistant to peel puffing and cracking. The segment membranes are thin, the flesh is soft, and the fruit is juicy with a rich sweetness. The soluble solids can reach 15% to 16%, making it a high-sugar, high-acid variety with excellent quality. This variety has good cold tolerance, disease resistance, is easy to cultivate and manage, and has a wide adaptability.
