Description
It is a high-quality, large-fruited variety developed through seed selection. It is named for its large and deep five-star-shaped calyx at the fruit’s base. The fruit is nearly round, with an average weight of 60.4 grams. The skin is orange-red, easy to peel, and the flesh is also orange-red. It has an edible rate exceeding 73.24%, with a soluble solids content of 12–15%. The flavor is rich and sweet, juicy, and the flesh is soft and delicate. The fruit matures from May to June.

I’m the user “tritonus” from the tropicalfruitforum.com, and ordered this variety because I couldn’t find it anywhere else. It is pricey, but the plant arrived very quickly (via FedEx) and in good condition (trimmed leaves). I’m sure that it will survive, Loquats are tough. Now let’s wait a few years to find out what the fruits are like.
